The following is the terms and conditions for the use of Baskerville.
University of Birmingham is the lead site for the programme and is the hosting site for the system.
This service is provided to authorised users of the Baskerville Tier 2 HPC system. Users of the system may be authorised by a consortium partner or via the hosting site for other reasons including for Access to HPC users.
- It is your responsibility to ensure you take adequate steps to ensure you data and code is protected.
- Accounts on the system are provided for individual use and sharing of account details is not permitted, where projects require additional login accounts, this can usually be facilitated through the project owner.
- Access to the service is time limited and may be removed at anytime if your use of the system is no longer authorised or if your account has been or is believed to have been used in a manner outside reasonable expectations of the system or where use of the account has, is, or is likely to, cause disruption of the service.
- By using the system you agree to the University of Birmingham processing your personal data for the purposes of operating the system.
- You must include an acknowledgement of the system in any publication which has been supported by use of the system.
- Use of the system is subject to the University of Birmingham IT policies which are published at general-conditions-use-of-computing.pdf.
- You should also be aware that your local institutional policy may also be applicable to use of the system.
