The Baskerville NCR team is pleased to congratulate Professor Kit Windows-Yule, Deputy Director of Baskerville, on being named Tech Leader of the Year at the 2026 Birmingham Tech Week Awards.
Alongside his role at Baskerville, Kit is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of EvoPhase, an AI-driven engineering technology venture that uses evolutionary algorithms and advanced simulation to solve real-world industrial challenges. Kit’s award was announced alongside a second success for the company, which was recognised as Frontier Tech Champion 2026.
These awards highlight the impact of cutting-edge research and innovation emerging from the University of Birmingham ecosystem, and we are proud to see a leading member of the Baskerville team recognised among this year’s winners.
